Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to middle school at Blackmon! I hope that you will grow to love our school and classes as much as I do. It is a fantastic place to be!

The 6th grade social studies course is a first year study on World Areas. Students will study the geography, economic, government/civic and history of Europe, Latin America, Canada, and Australia. The 7th grade social studies course is a second year study on World Areas. Students will study the geography, economic, government/civic and history of Africa, Southwest Asia, and Southeast Asia. Please feel free to contact us at any time and do not hesitate to ask for help!

My goal, as a teacher, is to help you learn! If you have any questions concerning materials covered in class or assignments, feel free to email or contact me at school. I am available to offer assistance after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. However, please let me know ahead of time for scheduling.
