Course Syllabus

Welcome to 7th Grade World Cultures!

I am delighted to be your teacher this year, and I look forward to us maintaining a positive relationship for the duration of the year. We are #Road2100percent proficiency on everything we do in class, whether academic or non-academic! Whoop Whoop! With hard work and dedication, together we can ensure the academic success of yourself and classmates. Let's dive in!

My name is Terrance Lewis. I am originally from the great city of Columbus, GA, where I attended Waddell Elementary, Midland Middle and graduated from Shaw High School. Furthermore, I graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in social studies education. Roll Tide! This is my second year in the field of education but my first year at Aaron Cohn Middle School. I am truly excited to be your student’s teacher and look forward to working on the same team maximizing the academic achievement of your student.

I believe that education is a collaborative process, for it truly takes parents, students, and other stakeholders working together in order for the true value of education to be effective. With that being said, I believe that students should be challenged to move outside of their comfort zones to places where they are challenged respectfully by their peers who might carry a different perspective.
