Week of May 4-8
Movie list is posted in Australia module! There is a file posted with the list and an assignment posted where you can get credit for 3 past assignments!
I know I said we would have a movie week this week, but at our faculty meeting the principals said this week needs to be a catch-up week. Therefore, this week is a catch-up week. I will, however, put a list of movies about Australia you will enjoy in the Africa module later today as an assignment. If you watch one and write me a paragraph about what happens and what you liked about it, it can replace three assignments from past weeks. I should have it posted for you by 1pm.
All work since we started working from home is due by this Thursday, May 7. I have to input grades no later than Friday, May 8. If you have completed all the work assigned, I will replace points in the first 3 nine weeks to increase your yearly average by up to 5 points to bring you up a letter grade. If you have any questions, please contact me. I will have all grades from last week updated with what I have by 4 this afternoon.
If you have missing grades in the gradebook now that you have completed, please send me an e-mail or message on Remind so I can update them for you.

Monday, April 27: Complete "Who are the Aborigines?" in the Australia module in Canvas
Tuesday, April 28: Complete "Aboriginal Culture #1" in the Australia module in Canvas
Wednesday, April 29: Complete "Aboriginal Culture #2" in the Australia module in Canvas
Thursday, April 30: Complete "Australians and Aborigines" in the Australia module in Canvas
Friday, May 1: Complete "Closing Uluru" in the Australia module in Canvas (Also, we will be having a Zoom meeting today!)
Assignments for Week of April 20-24:
Monday, April 20-We are doing a redo of "Conditions in the Outback" in the Australia Module on Canvas from last week. I have included some additional directions on how to watch the video in youtube or on your phone if it comes up restricted on Canvas. (Also, Anna says the BuzzFeed girl who does the video is annoying so, sorry. But I promise its short and you get to see her eat bugs.)
Tuesday, April 21-Do "Australian Outback #2" on Canvas in the Australia module. This one will work!!!!
Wednesday, April 22-Do "Australia's Industry and Natural Resources" in the Australia module.
Thursday, April 23-Look back over Clickbooks 33 and 34 and then do Checkpoint 14 in Gallopade. I have set this up so you can do it more than once to get the score you want.
Friday, April 24-I messed up yesterday and put the wrong Checkpoint on Canvas. It should be Checkpoint 16. So since it was my mistake, we will have that same assignment today.

Monday, April 13-Achieve Article *** Must do either "Sniffing Out Extinction," or "Foxes, Fires, and Cats-Oh My!" or "How Did People Find Australia?" Article and Activity only.
Tuesday, April 14-"Conditions in the Outback" in the Australia Module on Canvas
Wednesday, April 15-"Wool Industry in Australia" in the Australia Mondule
Thursday, April 16-"Herding Dogs in Australia" in the Australia Module
Friday, April 17-"AOW-Wildfires Affect Animals" in the Australia Module

Monday, April 6th: Do clickbook Chapter 33 and work on memorizing the physical features of Australia. Be ready to tell me where Nemo lives!
Tuesday, April 7th: Canvas Assignment called Great Barrier Reef located in Modules.
Wednesday, April 8: Canvas Assignment called Great Barrier Reef Part 2 located in Australia module.
Thursday, April 9: Do Clickbook 34 on Gallopade.
Friday, April 10: Do Australia map quiz on Canvas.
