This course introduces all-new MCSD staff to technologies and applications commonly used in the district. The course is delivered using Canvas, our district's Learning Management System (LMS). The topics are divided into Modules. You may choose a specific Module or work through the modules in sequential order.

Have you received your MCSD laptop? Learn how to complete the basic setup process.
What programs and applications will you use on a daily basis? This module will cover the important applications all MCSD staff access from the Staff page of the MCSD website.
Email is a fundamental part of district communications. How should you access email on your laptop? How can you get to email when your laptop is not available. This module will answer those questions.
SHARP printers are set up throughout the district buildings. Learn the basics of copying and printing using these multi-function machines.
What is Clever and how do we use it in MCSD? This module will cover the basics and show teachers how to print Clever badges for their students.
MCSD offers Google Workspace and Office 365 to all staff and students. This module will highlight how to sign into your MCSD accounts for each cloud computing product.
IIQ is the technology ticketing work order system. Learn how to submit a ticket in order to receive technical support when issues arise.
Go Guardian is an instructional tool that allows teachers to view active students' Chromebooks and apply various interventions. Before using Go Guardian, please complete the teacher setup using the provided slide deck.
Most MCSD locations have SMART GX panels installed in all instructional spaces. This module's resources will cover the basics of using the SMART GX Panel.
