Ms. McNeill and Mrs. Scarbrough

Welcome:  We are so excited to begin a new school year with your student.  Our goal this year is to help your student foster a love for science.

Class Preparation:  Students need to have a charged Chromebook, paper, pencil, dry erase marker, notebook and prior work daily.  A personal pair of headphones would be helpful but are not required.

Expectations for class:          Everyone has the right to, and should expect to, learn.

Each individual is worthy of respect.

Classroom orderliness is necessary for an effective classroom.

Hard work is necessary for learning.

Thinking critically and asking questions creates problem solvers!

Late Work:

  1. Please turn work in on time. Late work will be accepted at the teacher’s discretion, most assignments may not be turned in late.  Late work that is accepted will be awarded reduced credit.  If there are extenuating circumstances, please let us know.  It is our goal to help your student to be successful.

Missed Work:

  1. It is the student’s responsibility to check the canvas page for deadlines and missed notes. We will also have test dates and deadlines written on the board in class.
  2. Missed work due to an absence: Full credit will be awarded for work made up due to an absence. This work must be completed in a timely manner per the school handbook.  If you have been, absent for an extended period, please email us and we will work out a timeline to get you caught up.
