Follow the instructions for each of the four assignments.

There is nothing to submit for these assignments - please use these to review for the chapter 3 test.

When all four assignments are completed and taped into your composition book, please use the Index Card Test review powerpoint and/or Quizlet to study for the the chapter test.

Also double check the Assignment Checklist link above to make sure that you have completed all work for Ch. 1 and be sure to email me every time you complete one of the missing assignments for Ch. 1 so that I can adjust your grade in Infinite Campus.

Also check to be sure that you have submitted all of the assigned work for Ch. 3.  I have not checked any of this work yet so you do not have to email me.  I will be checking for all Ch. 3 work this week so please get these assignments submitted before we start work on Ch. 2 this week.

    Log into ACHIEVE 3000 and read the article "What's Under the Earth?'  Complete the first five steps in the ACHIEVE article and complete the RACE assignment - make sure you follow the guidelines from your ELA teacher.

Then you must read another article of your choice and complete the five steps from the article but you do not need to do the RACE assignment unless you want to  practice your writing skills.
